Nothing Like a Good Soak and a Poke for the Holidays....

Like the good hiking-boot-wearing-lesbo's that we are, the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday weekend saw Jenn and I jet off to the Village of Nakusp , a natural hotsprings Mecca nestled in the West Kootenays Region of B.C. for some much needed rest and relaxation before the traveling season comes to an end.....

It was Lovely.....

Lucky you, I spent the weekend writing a paper on the rise and (possible) fall of american hegemony. Sound fun doesn't it? Better than hiking and hotsprings that's for sure.
Happy thanksgiving Connie and Jenn.
Hope you found time for Turkey along the way.

Nakusp is a great little place. I've got a really good friend that lives there. Did you see her?

happy turkey weekend - thanks for sharing your photos connie :) i like you posing on a stump - makes me proud to be canadian - now if only there had been a hockey stick in the photo - might have been able to submit it for a new flag

oh - and thanks for sharing your boob - now my turkey weekend is complete :)

Thanks Ape.... That is a good ol' Canadian pic isn't it!
No prob about the boob - It's always a pleasure ;)

You know April, judging how fucking small Nakusp actually is I may very well have run into your friend.....

Thanks Erin....
Uni life sucks eh? It is your razor-sharp brain that is a turn on now, didn't you know.....
Unfortunatly, no turkey this weekend... my mum made my fave macaroni casserole tonight though.
Hey! It is the Killers Show this week isn't it?.... Hope you have a good roadtrip ;)

Loved the pics, but I could have done without the rocks, the water, the trees, the mountains, the clouds, the sky, and the sun... they detracted from the natural beauty.

sounds like fun, I really should head west to see the sights someday.

Aas, you're such a fucking flirt man! Don't you just love him?

GTs eh, Connie? Looks like a lovely part of the world again. Are there any shitholes near where you live? I wonder if the Candadian Cultural Exchange's remit might be to swap entire towns and their populations.

You're so very blessed. Thanks for sharing those lovely piccies with us.

Oh Aas!... you really are a sweetie aren't you ;)
Hi Owl!
Hi blog-girlfriends!

It really is so beautiful.... even more than the photo's give justice, if you can believe it....

I'm happy to report that you would have a hard time finding a "shit hole" here in British Columbia.... Even the Backdrop to the scummiest crack alley in the lower Eastside of Vancouver is a snowy tree covered mountainscape gracefully sloping down into the Pacific ocean...
Like i've said before - everyone needs to make their way to Western Canada once in their lives.
We take great care of our tourists.

Really? Any tourists in particular?

the bicyclists in spandex kind, i'm sure.

actually, even on the east coast they're awesome. clean restrooms every 30 minutes at most, in bay of fundy area. that's the most important aspect of touring, you know. and they've got it covered like a glove.
