I heard once that the theory on those old uniforms is that they were designed to be so awful that they would drain the energy from the opposing team that had to look at them.
Problem for the Canucks was they had to look at each other, too.

I had seasons tickets to the canucks in 1994. It was exciting. Until my man walked out on me 7 months pregnant but that's another story all together.
