Summer and Blogging Don't Mix.

As you know already, from my incessant whining, all about my perpetual busy life that is nagging interference to my personal pleasure zone of blogging - now you must add the stunning and insane hot weather (35 degrees Yesterday) to the list.
These lazy dog-days of summer generally bring with them out-of-town visitors, BBQ parties, and Drinking Gin and playing Darts on patios instead of being cooped up in the darkest most stuffy room in my house being a insufferable blog-slut.

...It seems now either I purchase a laptop and take it with me too the beach, OR I just get out there and take my winter computer-chair-shaped ass to go splashing happily about in the lake and get a bit of sun on my pasty white globes, visit some friends and have an pleasurable afternoon drinky whilst staring lovingly at my sun-drenched lil' French Tickler.....

Ahhh, I love the Summer.

You've got to make the most of the summer, Connie, I certainly would if we ever had one in Manchester. Actually, we had ours a couple of weeks ago - all finished now.

It's always very intriguing when people delete their comments. I wonder if they'd written something derogatory about your HUGE glass of beer and had called you a lush, then thought better of it.

My, that's a very inviting glass of beer.

Connie, the few and far between pictures... I mean, posts... with which you've honoured us this summer have been captivating enough and will lead us patiently to the pleasurable return of (hopefully) more regular rustic ruminations by thine self.

I say, SPLASH AWAY!!!

Summer is to be enjoyed. It's way too short to spend in front of a computer. Have fun.

thanks guys!
yes Tina, I know, I know.... I'm trying to NOT be a lush this summer. It's fairly easy 'cause Jenn doesn't drink so it's kinda boring (and sorta wrong) to get drunk by yourself. lol

Anyways, I am enjoyong myself very much.

How is everyone elses summer been so far?

Same here. Definatly think that if you can tear yourself away from the 'puter, you're a stronger person than I am. I've still gotta do my lunch and get my school bag ready but I'm practically addicted to this now.

Well, nearly, when my fiancée isn't here, anyway.

The coffee looks yum. I wanna visit Canada someday. Any place you recommend?

hello yuri,

Well as far as Canada is concerned, It is so huge and so different from province to province, it all really depends what you are interested in....
If you love the outdoors, beautiful scenery, skiing, mtn. biking, rock-climbing etc. etc.I suggest my home province of British Columbia.

Another popular tourist destination of Ontario (and its major city, Toronto,) considered the most populated and multicultural.
I personally love the scenery and laid back attitude of our Atlantic Provinces as well.
But, Like I said, it all depends what you want to see and do!

Is Jenn saying 'you're starting to feel a bit squiffy aren't you? - Isn't 15 pints enough at lunchtime?'???
