Jenn and I are off to take my mum (who has a limited love of music, and which "number one fave" just may be Mr. Nelson...) and my step-dad to go see the legendary Country Star - Willie Nelson......
You know, I used to absolutly LOVE the song "On The Road Again" when I was little....

Was he any good? I've heard his live stuff not been too great recently.
He actually was quite good, I was surprised.... Well at least playing the old standards anyways... He played a new song he just wrote about having a sore throat - it was in fact crap.
Its always good to see the legends nevertheless.....

He's ok! I grew up with old country, so I know what the parents are like. I took my dad to see Kenny Rogers not too far back.
Kenny Rogers opened a restaurant in this country which was called "Kenny Rogers Roasters". Unfortunately this was the source of much mirth since "roger" is also kind've a verb, as in "to roger".
e.g. i roger, you roger, he/she/it rogers, we roger, they roger.
Sad but true (the restaurant, not that you or i roger), and completely lowers the tone, I know.
ship creak: LOL! took me a bit, but finally caught on. duh! So which country are 'we' from huh? US i imagine?
