Lower the Voting age to 16 ?!!??!!

I'm kind of in shock that this even is being taken seriously.....as it is, the voter turnout is generally only about 65% with the 18+ crowd, who, i might add actually pay taxes and really should care who runs their province and country....do you really think an average 16 year old has the "time" or the interest to actually go and vote? Almost 35% of adults in this country don't even bother.......
